Pretty solid burger place. Not as oily as some other places I've had. They are quick and foods not bad. I come here sometimes if I pass by on my way home. But would not go out of my way for it.
My wife and I stopped here for lunch while visiting Chinatown last week. It was a great atmosphere, food made-to-order, and a good price for the food quality. Service was great and I'd like to compliment Tony L both on his service and his fashion. My wife got the BBQ Smash Burger with crispy fries and I got a bacon cheeseburger with tater tots. Everything was perfectly made and just what we needed after walking around on a freezing day.
Have had Burger By Day on my radar for a while now and finally had the excuse to try it! My partner and I shared the classic BBD along with a Spicy Chick sandwich and both exceeded expectations. The BBD was cooked perfectly, the edges of the patties perfectly crisp. The sauce it came with paired well with the meat and griddles onions. The spicy chick sandwich was ENORMOUS with a very hefty sized chicken patty, made spicy with a generous dusting of seasoning. Fries delightfully crisp.
My impression was the place was clean and seats and bathroom is available for this cite. There also a bubble tea spot in this establishment. It was my first time here and I went for the chick burger which is chicken thighs and BBD home sauce. The burger portion was big the burger was fresh but the sauce was like a powdered of spices on top which I did not Enjoy as much. The burger was fresh and it was my first time having it with chicken thighs although it was juicy I now know I prefer chicken breast. The fries were delicious very crispy and Oreo shake was also very yummy. I would probably try their regular beef burger next time.
Rating: 4.5 stars I've walked past this spot quite a few times, and I'm glad I finally came in to dine. Honestly, I had very very low expectations, but I was convinced after taking that first bite! It shares a space with a bubble tea spot, and it's just a simple counter order -- where service is swift and efficient -- but the double bacon smash burger was ON POINT. The fries were super crispy and the onion rings hit the spot (too). Fast, delicious and delightful. You won't regret eating here.
Having always walked past this burger joint going to chinatown I always wondered if it was any good. Now, I don't have to wonder as I had the good fortune of craving burgers more than chinese food during one of my visits. Sharing the same store front as I'milky, Burger By Day is the second store located more inside. This burger was fresh, crisp, with a fluffy bun and fresh veggies. It was a really good burger that I'd recommend everyone who's curious to try. The fries were perfectly crispy with a nice crunch. I also tried their green tea milk shake and it was soo good! With a strong green tea flavor (without being overwhelming) it made a really good milkshake. I'd definitely come back to this place if I'm craving a burger as it was top notch.
Keepin it real out here in Chinatown Great spot right by the station and it's inside the same store as a bubble tea, talk about 1 stop shop. I usually go for Chinese / Viet food in Chinatown but occasionally we do crave burger type food. It's definitely not typical fast food, made fresh all around. Just a good vibe overall.
